Whether you’re just dipping your toes into the world of AI or are already on your journey, Dawn is here to teach us how to optimize our use of ChatGPT. Listen in as she shares how you can create your own ChatGPT prompts to help AI generate ideas and content specific to you and your audience!
Here’s a step-by-step guide to writing ChatGPT prompts:
Define ChatGPT’s Role: Start by telling ChatGPT who you want it to emulate—be it an expert marketer, nutritionist, or social media specialist. For example, begin with, “You are an experienced email marketer.”
Introduce Yourself: Give ChatGPT some context about who you are. For instance, “I am a technology coach serving creative entrepreneurs.”
Explain Your Intentions: Clearly state what you’re working on and who your target audience is. For example, “I am creating an email series for creatives to get a tech tip every week.”
Assign a Task: Don’t forget to give ChatGPT an explicit task. You might say, “I would like 52 email topics about technology in a table format.”
Request Specific Formats: Finally, you can ask ChatGPT to organize the response in a particular format, such as a list, table, or bullet points. The detailed directives will help ChatGPT provide a much more tailored response than a simple request like, “Give me ideas for emails.”
Do you like the snack sized format? Every other week, you’re going to see this snack size format, where I’ll be pulling from my real life conversations and sharing quick tips and thoughts with you!
