Hey, friends! I'm Laylee; a teacher turned photographer, and small-business owner turned business-educator... and you could say I am habitually seeking out new adventures (like this podcast). I love meeting new people, especially in the creative industry, and I found that I had so many game changing moments in the middle of intimate conversations with peers and industry leaders—so many fresh, real and raw perspectives are shared in those conversations over a drink or a meal, and I wanted to create a space to bring a little of those conversations to you.

I don’t have all the answers (wouldn’t that be nice!), but I’ve learned a lot along the way and I’m an open book. As a former high school teacher, I have a huge heart for educating others. I’m not afraid to dig into tough topics or share my experiences—the good and the bad. I want you to feel confident in your ability to make a difference and make a living doing what you love.

I’m here to encourage you, lift you up, give you my honest advice, and equip you with the resources and support you need to achieve your goals. Let’s dive in!
